Friday Morning - In the City

Friday morning :

As usual, in the morning, we have all been to Kimpisen school.
There, we have all been reunited, the finnish and the french guys.
Some of the finn had lessons, so they directly quit the activity after having compaingned us.
The teachers told us to form groups of 4 or 5 french guys + 1 or 2 finn.
The finn teachers gave us a map of the city per group, and we had to choose 5 statues in the center of the city.
After that, we have all quit school.

We began by trying to find the statues. Each group went by a side.
We walked with the finn students guiding us. Every time we found a statue, the finn students told us about the story of the statue.
At the same time, we have taken some pictures of the statues.
Then, after having found our 5 statues and having listened to each story, we passed at a supermarket in order to buy something to drink, because it was a sunny and warm day.
After that, we had each group to make a statue by ourselves and to take a picture of it. It was a little complicated to find what we wanted to do, and linking the two nationalities. We tried some positions, and we changed, we took many time to finally find something we were all satisfied by.

By coming back to school, we were all laughing together, and we visited some new parts of the city of Lappeenrenta.

Arrived at school, the finn teachers gave us a computer each group, so that we could send our pictures of the statue we done by e-mail to the teacher. Behind that picture in the e-mail, we had to write a little text of what we done, and about what we liked for each statue we found.

After having finished that e-mail and sent it, we could go to the canteen in order to eat all together.
It was a funny morning we spent, by knowing more each other, more the city, and more the cuture in Finland.
